By using this website and our services, you agree to the following terms:

1. About CopyOwls

CopyOwls provides a digital certification service for creators to document and timestamp their original work as a tool in proving ownership. We do not guarantee ownership, originality, or enforceability of any material submitted.

2. What We Provide

When you upload a file to CopyOwls:

• We generate a SHA-256 digital fingerprint of your file.
• We issue a Certificate of Receipt showing the date/time of submission.
• We offer optional notarised certificates and witness statements, available upon request.

You can access your vault(s), upload updated versions, and verify your files at any time while your subscription is active.

3. Your Responsibilities

• You must own or have the right to submit any file you upload.
• You are responsible for keeping your account and vaults secure.
• You must not upload any illegal, harmful, or infringing content.

4. Verification Services

Verification of files or certificates is available via our platform. We do not review or disclose the contents of submitted files.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• CopyOwls shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or legal claim resulting from your use of our service.
• In all cases, our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the relevant service.

6. No Legal Advice

CopyOwls is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Certificates and statements are offered as evidence of receipt and timestamp only, and do not constitute proof of ownership or copyright registration.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate access to your account in cases of misuse, abuse, or breach of these terms.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
